Alliance MMA Sends Four Fighters To First "Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series"

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is once again innovating the world of professional mixed martial arts as they are set to roll out their new project entitled "Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series." (DWTNCS) The program is exclusively streamed through UFC Fight Pass and will feature four Alliance MMA Prospects who are hoping to impress the UFC brass and earn themselves a UFC contract.

In what's being called "The Ultimate Job Interview," fighters will have to not only win, but win spectacularly in order to prove they belong in the sports highest level of competition. DWTNCS hopes to become the final proving ground for some fighters who have worked their way into the UFC's consideration.

The Alliance MMA fighters who will be featured are as followed:

Manny Vazquez (11-2) - SuckerPunch Entertainment Athlete

At just 23 years-old, Manny Vazquez has proven his talents for major promotions such as LFA and Bellator MMA on his way to the top. The flyweight phenom will face Joby Sanchez in a fast-paced 125lb bout. Vazquez possesses a slick ability to secure choke submissions, and will likely attempt to finish the fight in that fashion against Sanchez if he has the opportunity.

Boston Salmon (5-1) - SuckerPunch Entertainment Athlete

Boston "Boom Boom" Salmon is an RFA veteran fighting out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. With four of his five wins coming by way of knockout, Salmon has burst onto the scene over the past few years and hopes to catch his opponent with his rocket left hand and end the night early. Salmon will face the undefeated Ricky Turcios tonight.

Zu Anyanwu (13-4) - Cage Fury Fighting Championships Heavyweight Champion

"Zulu", "3TC", "The Eighth Wonder." Zu Anyanwu has many names, but just one goal...To become the baddest man on the planet. The 3-time CFFC heavyweight champ is a brawler with a strong ground game as well. With seven knockouts and two submissions over the course of his career Anyanwu has established himself as a finisher with moxie. In his last bout he knocked out a highly-touted Nick Catone product in Shawn Teed at CFFC 63. That same night UFC President Dana White was in attendance filming "Dana White: Lookin For A Fight." Surely the UFC boss was thoroughly impressed with Anyanwu's performance, and now he finds himself on DWTNCS. Zu goes against CES champion Greg Rebello tonight.

Kurt Holobaugh (17-4) - SuckerPunch Entertainment Athlete

Holobaugh is a great story of redemption. He once fought for the UFC at UFC 159 in 2013 where he unfortunately lost via decision. After being released, Holobaugh transformed his MMA game and has been on a tear ever since winning eight of his last ten fights. He is as well-rounded as they come, and comes into this bout fresh off a victory that won him the Titan FC Interim Lightweight Title back in May. Holobaugh is set to fight CES featherweight champ Matt Bessette.

Five Fights, Four Alliance MMA fighters. The first installment of DWTNCS is going to be a good one! To watch the show tune in to UFC Fight Pass tomorrow night at 8pm Eastern.
