A spectacular night of fights this past weekend at the Minglewood Hall was capped off with the crowing of the first V3 professional champion Bryce "Thug Nasty" Mitchell.

In the Main event of the evening, Mitchell came away victorious with his 8th straight submission victory by securing a rear-naked choke on his opponent Issac Ware with 1:44 left in the very first round. Mitchell has made the RNC his go-to move, and each time he enters the cage he goes for it. This past Saturday night, "Thug Nasty" established himself as one of Alliance MMA's biggest stars. Surely we will see Bryce on an even bigger stage in the near future.

Another title bout in the form of the amateur lightweight title was awarded to Reggie Adams for his submission victory (guillotine) over Brian Mitchell. The back-and-forth matchup won fight of the night, and Adams proved he is ready to take the next step of his career. He's now the titleholder for both the V3 amateur featherweight and lightweight belts making him a likely candidate to go pro soon enough.
